In you kind sir we trust

Here’s a little ditty, it ain’t very pretty, but b4 you raise your fist, I reassure you, it ends with a twist…

In you, kind sir, we trust

We saw it coming, back then.
Though how or when we did not know
Nor what form the beast would take

Oh so clever oh so fake
How to unravel humanity, shake it to the core.
Clever yet so damn simple

We are bound, gagged, intricately connected
We stare silently, meek as sheep,
More like lambs to the slaughter
And that my friends, is how this tale begins, or so they say…

On that dark day, helpless, caged, exotic beings, beg silently for mercy
Cruelly slaughtered to satisfy man’s lust for blood
Breaking trust, the sanctity of life
Nature’s revenge unleashed

How or when will the end begin?
We do not know, only yet the seeds we sow
Seeds of change or seeds of the same? Same old game

A glimmer of hope, kindness and light
Some of these beings refuse, instead not to fight, but spread light for the lonely,
 light for the poor,
This facet of humanity is what we seek more
Generosity prevails

Reject the darkness, reject the lies for beneath the surface of this tale, Mother Earth sighs
Sighs of relief or sigh of sadness?
Who knows but for a brief moment in time she will be given a modicum of respite
Perhaps allow her to breathe,
for when she takes her final breath that will be the death, death of all

Our brief existence ceases
The universe grieves, yet simultaneously is relieved,
Those fucking humans
Then turns its attention to Mars,
Greetings Mr Musk, in you kind sir, we bestow our trust…
